In his Presidential Address at ICMSWSN-2025, Prof. Devesh K. Sinha highlighted how microplastics have become a global climate concern—spreading through ocean currents, altering marine ecosystems, and even reaching polar ice. He emphasized the feedback loop between plastic pollution and climate change, calling for urgent research, innovation in biodegradation, and collective action to combat this invisible threat.
