It is with deep sorrow that the Department mourns the untimely passing of our esteemed and beloved faculty member Dr Anindita Dey on 23^rd December 2025 in Spain.

Her loss is profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of working alongside her. A dedicated academic and mentor, she was known for her intellectual rigour, professionalism and integrity. Beyond her scholarly achievements, she will be remembered for her kindness, approachability, and unwavering support to the department community. Her presence enriched our department, and her absence leaves a void that cannot be easily filled.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. Her memory will continue to inspire us, and her legacy will endure in the lives she touched.
